Roaring Fork Studio is comprised of husband and wife team, Chris Szaton and Stacey Adam, and is located in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. In 2010 Chris and Stacey met while participating as vendors in the Market Square Farmers Market in downtown Knoxville, TN. They ended up collaborating on projects and events in many ways and forming a fast friendship and deep love for each other while working together. In 2014 they married and moved to the beautiful Roaring Fork at the base of Mt Leconte in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. In 2016 they formed Roaring Fork Studio, where they produce blown glass, woodturned items, jewelry, leather goods and more. They approach all things as an adventure, which leads to inspiration for creativity, respect and love.
“To live with small means, to seek elegance rather that luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly: to listen to the stars and birds, to babes and sages with an open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasion, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual unbidden and unconscious grow up through the common. This is my symphony.”
